Additions to Singing Hills Forest Preserve
Singing Hills Forest Preserve abuts our Liberty Lakes community and 2008 began with the Lake County Forest Preserve District purchasing 75 additional acres for the preserve, bringing its total acreage to 687. The purchase price for the 2 new parcels was $4.49 million. The photo below (click on photo to enlarge) shows the entire preserve, with Gilmer Road diagonally bisecting the preserve and red boxes marking the recent purchases...

Board of Directors Meeting
Tuesday, April 29th, 6:30 pm at Wauconda Library in the Lincoln Room. Please come to the meeting and bring any questions or concerns you may have. Elections will take place for the new Board of Directors. You may vote with a proxy if you are unable to attend.
